    Bishop Matthiesen's new book is the story of Bernard and Elisabeth Hoelscher Matthiesen and their family.  With letters from family in Texas to  Bernard's family in Germany  and back this book shares the lives of the Matthiesen family during the late 1800's, the World Wars and up to the late 1900's.  Elisabeth is the daughter of Anton Jr.
