Friday June 9, 2006 a Historical Marker was dedicated marking the Gravesite of Anton Hoelscher Sr.

The Hoelscher- Buxkemper Family Assocication provided the funds and with work of the committee of Leonard Buxkemper, Henry Hoelscher, Jr., Doris Voltin, and Carolyn Meiners Heinsohn it became a reality.

 Directions to Gravesite:  From Ellinger on FM 2503 about 6 miles turn left on Wechecta Road, travel about 2 miles and Historical Marker will be on the right.  Actual Grave Stone is on private property up the hill.

Mary Katherine Hoelscher wife of Anton Hoelscher Sr is buried at Sts Peter and Paul's Parish Cemetery, Frelsburg near a Large Oak Tree.

Children

Elizabeth  & Theodore Buxkemper are buried at Sts Peter and Paul's Parish Cemetery, Frelsburg.

Anton and Elizabeth Hoelscher, Jr. are buried at Live Oak Hill Cemetery near Ellinger.  Take Fm 2503 east from Ellinger.  See pictures below.

Joseph and Katherine Hoelscher are buried at Westphalia, Falls County.

William and Anna Catherina Hoelscher are buried at Live Oak Hill Cemetery near Ellinger.  See pictures below.

Ben and Elizabeth Hoelscher are buried at St Michael's Cemetery in Weimar, Colorado County.
