Cheryl Bridges Zadlo, the second daughter of Anna Lee Bridges and granddaughter of Leo and Helen Matthiesen, retired from the Air Force in the grade of Colonel after serving as the J1 (manpower and personnel) for  USCENTCOM, with service at forward headquarters in Doha, Quatar, as well as in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries.  She is now the Director, Member Services and Products at the Military Officers Association of America.

Deacon Darrell Kostiha was profiled in a recent copy of Catholic Spirit magazine. Kostiha is the youngest of nine children, and the son of Gladys and the late Albert Kostiha. He grew up in Westphalia and belonged to the Church of the Visitation Parish. After high school, he was working at a distribution center in Temple and raising cattle, when he decided to enter St. Mary’s Seminary in 2008. After high school, he worked for a distribution center in Temple, on the swing shift at a manufacturing plant, and raised cattle on the side.

Father Matthew Hoelscher was ordained May 24, 2014, at The Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Peoria, IL. He attended Mount St. Mary Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. Upon ordination, he was assigned Chaplain to The High School of St. Thomas More in Champaign, IL and Parochial Vicar of the parishes of St. Matthew, Champaign and St. Boniface, Seymour, IL. Father Hoelscher grew up in Amarillo, TX, the son of Tim and Malinda Hoelscher and is a seventh generation descendant of William.

Rev. Adam Droll, son of Howard & Mary (Arhelger) Droll was ordained a priest May 30, 2015, at Sacred Heart Cathedral in the Diocese of San Angelo by Bishop Michael Sis. Adam was born December 21, 1988, in San Angelo, Texas.  He graduated from San Angelo Central High School.  He attended the Conception Seminary School in Conception, Missouri and Mundelein Seminary in Chicago. He will return for another year of graduate level theology at Mundelein Seminary this fall before beginning parish work in the Diocese of San Angelo in the summer of 2016.
