Three of the family deacons passed away this last year: Deacon Leroy Beach, Deacon Johnnie Thornton, Jr and Deacon Darris Linder.
Family Board Member, Clarence Entrop died May 14, 2016 in Temple. Clarence was an active board members, helping at reunions and setting up the off year board meeting places.
March 13, 1931 – January 12, 2016 Father Marvin C. Kitten, SJ died Monday, January 12, 2016, at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas, La. He was 84 years old, a Jesuit for 62 years and a priest for 50 years.
Leonard Buxkemper – Leonard Buxkempber passed away May 11, 2015. Leonard, the ninth child out of a family of ten, was born on August 29, 1928 to Emil and Caroline Gully Buxkemper at Frelsburg. Leonard is survived by his wife, Juanita, of 46 years. Leonard was a board member for many years and was reunion chair in Columbus.
Anton Jones - Alton C. Jones passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 in Kyle, Texas at the age of 100. Alton lived in Alice, Texas prior to moving to Portland, Texas in 1973. Alton is survived by his loving wife of 75 years Rosalie A. Jones.
