2018 reunion – San Angelo, Texas: “ Family Ties”

By Linda Binns

Being a part of the largest family in Texas means you have a lot of ties. If you go to a big university in Texas, it’s almost guaranteed a classmate is your cousin. In some communities, it’s almost certain that one of your neighbors is a relative. You have family members who are war heroes, and those who are dedicated to God. Whether you grew up in a town full of cousins, or never met one, if you’re a member of the Hoelscher – Buxkemper family, you have family ties like no other family in Texas. Come to the 33rd Biennial Hoelscher – Buxkemper reunion and learn about all them. It will take place in San Angelo, Texas on Saturday and Sunday, June 23, & 24, 2018. The reunion will be held at the Kolumbus Club, 3636 N. Bryant Street.

Activities for Saturday include a silent auction, souvenirs, a domino tournament, children’s entertainment, memorabilia display, a raffle, and a Saturday night dance. Everyone is welcome to begin Sunday morning with Mass and then more visiting, pictures for those over 80, dinner, and the family meeting where you hear news about the family and awards.

This is your invitation to “save the date’ for the San Angelo reunion. If you have any questions about the reunion or wish to help with the reunion in any way, contract Linda Binns, email xxxxxxxxxxxor call. Lots of things are packed into two days, so look for your registration letter in early 2018.
